How writing is scored at B1
Each of the four modules is scored out of 100 points. You pass a module with 60 points, and each module counts on its own.
Schreiben is a module of its own. You can take it alone or with the other modules, and you can retake it alone.
How to practise Goethe B1 writing
- Plan your time by task: part 1 20 minutes, part 2 25 minutes, part 3 15 minutes.
- The tasks do not give equal points: part 1 gives 40 points, part 2 gives 40 points, part 3 gives 20 points.
- Cover every content point the task asks for.
- Read your result for each task and write the weakest task type again.
