Yes. Faust's AI marks your Goethe B1 writing on the four official criteria (task fulfilment, coherence, vocabulary and structures) and your speaking on task fulfilment, interaction, vocabulary and structures. Every lost point shows its reason, and each language error in your letter shows the words and the correction. Faust runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and in the browser.

You write your letter or record your answers in a Faust Goethe B1 paper in the real exam format, and hand in. You get a band from A to E and the points for each criterion. Your first Schreiben paper and your first Sprechen paper on Faust are marked free, with no sign-up and no card.

### Faust at a glance

- What it is: an exam practice app for the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 to C2 and 7 more German exams, with AI marking of writing and speaking.
- Practice papers: 48 for Goethe B1, 12 of them for Schreiben and 12 for Sprechen.
- Speaking: you answer the AI exam partner, or practise alone from A1 to C1, and Faust marks what you said.

### How the AI marking works

- A language model reads your answer and reports what it observes: corrections, task points done, the moves you made.
- Fixed, versioned rules turn those observations into criterion points, from the official exam criteria. Band A gives the full points of a criterion, B three quarters, C half, D a quarter and E none.
- Writing is read 3 times and speaking 5 times, and an observation counts when most reads agree.
- Every lost point links to its rule and, where they exist, to the words that cost it.
